Project Manager (Facilities)
An opportunity is now available for a Project Manager (Facilities) with 3+ years of experience to oversee facility-related GMP projects from initiation to completion.
This role involves coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
The successful Project Manager will be accountable for the performance of an assigned portfolio of site-based projects, leading through Project Execution.
Flexible application of Project Delivery Processes is required through the definition, execution, and assessment phases; including, but not limited to driving innovation to ensure safety and appropriate quality, reducing cost and schedule, utilizing learning adoption internally and externally, and overseeing commissioning.
This role is responsible for managing and contributing to project progress, helping to expedite key activities across functions, finding solutions to key problems, and communicating project progress, issues, and solutions to management and the project team.
A suitable candidate for this role will have experience leading end-to-end capital projects in the field of facilities, utilities, and general site infrastructure. They will also have experience and knowledge of working in a regulated environment (pharma or medical devices).
Experience:
* A Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution is required.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent preferred.
* Minimum of 3 years of Project Management experience.
* Prior experience managing a portfolio of small to medium site-based capital projects in the field of facilities, utilities, and general site infrastructure.
* Good understanding of Project Controls in cost and schedule development, financial assessments, and managing of Budget and Schedule.
* Experience and skills in contracting and negotiation.
* Experience in contract management of third-party project management service providers.
A successful candidate should have experience working with the following GMP facility systems:
* HVAC – controls temperature, humidity, and air quality.
* Water Systems – includes Purified Water (PW), Water for Injection (WFI), and Clean Steam.
* Compressed Air & Gases – supports cleanroom and production needs.
* Environmental Monitoring – ensures cleanroom compliance.
* Cleanroom Infrastructure – walls, floors, ceilings, and filtration.
* Process Utilities – steam, chilled water, and waste treatment.
* Building Management Systems (BMS) – monitors and controls facility operations.
* Fire & Life Safety – ensures regulatory compliance.
