Mid to Senior Level Packaging Equipment - Pharmaceuticals - Cork
We are seeking a Project Engineer to join the CAPEX Projects Team in our Cork Site.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have experience in working on client-side Capital Projects execution roles, specifically in pharmaceuticals. You will be responsible for developing equipment solutions and managing cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop Equipment Solution and URS with Packaging & Engineering End-Users
* Source & identify equipment solutions with appropriate equipment vendors
* Develop Capital Budget for the project and input to Capital Application documentation
* Manage and execute the design, procurement, construction, commissioning and qualification phases of the project
* Complete site change management activities for the introduction of the equipment
* Manage cross-functional in-house and external project team
* Project Scheduling & Cost Control with regular reporting to key client stakeholders
* Ensure there is a strong safety culture and performance in the execution of the project
* Project Validation execution
* Manage project changes and ensure all are captured, documented and assessed
Requirements:
* Degree in a relevant science / engineering discipline
* Experience in working in client-side Capital Projects execution role
* Experience in Client Electronic Change Management Systems & full end-to-end Project Life-cycle
* Experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects in a GMP Manufacturing Environment
* Understanding of Environmental, Health and Safety requirements of the Pharmaceutical industry
* Strong understanding of the principles of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
* 8 to 10 years (minimum) of project management/engineering experience across the project life-cycle within a Pharmaceutical environment
Estimated Salary:
$120,000 - $180,000 per year
