We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant (Part Qualified) to join our team.
About the Role
* General Accounting: Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
* Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Support the Finance Manager in the analysis of financial data and the preparation of financial forecasts.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Help in the preparation and consolidation of departmental budgets. Monitor budget variances and assist in the preparation of variance analysis reports.
* Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly. Assist in the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and the maintenance of accurate records.
* Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and responding to audit inquiries. Assist in implementing audit recommendations and improving internal controls.
* Compliance and Regulation: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
* Team Support: Collaborate with other members of the finance team to ensure smooth financial operations. Provide support to the Finance Manager and other team members as needed.
* Professional Development: Actively pursue further professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA). Stay updated with current accounting standards and best practices.
