Job Description
A SHEQ Advisor is sought to join a large and busy civils contractor in Tyrone, with regular site visits to Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct safety audits, inspections, and investigations to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
* Regularly review, update, and communicate health and safety, environmental, and quality policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Maintain and update all relevant SHEQ department administration, including documentation for the SHE Management System.
* Assist in developing required documentation for OHSAS and ISO standards, including 45001, 18001, 14001, and 9001:2015.
* Compile reports and maintain consistent compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Plan and coordinate SHEQ-related training for employees.
Requirements
* NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification.
* Exposure to and understanding of implementing OHSAS 45001 or 18001 and ISO 14001 and 9001 standards.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar health and safety role within the construction sector.
* Previous experience in the civil engineering industry is preferred.
* Experience in coordinating health and safety, ISO quality standards, internal auditing, risk assessments, and corrective action plans.
* High level of administrative and IT skills.
