We are seeking a highly organised Purchasing Coordinator to join our client on a permanent, full-time basis at their Limerick office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. SUPPORT DEPARTMENT MANAGERS IN DEVELOPING AND MANAGING THE PURCHASING PROCESS.
2. MULTITASK WITH INTERNAL TEAMS TO FORECAST PURCHASING NEEDS.
3. EVALUATE SUPPLIER PERFORMANCE TO MEET BUSINESS EXPECTATIONS.
4. ENSURE ALL PURCHASES COMPLY WITH COMPANY OPERATIONAL TIMELINES AND QUALITY STANDARDS.
5. PROCESS PURCHASE ORDERS, TRACK DELIVERIES, AND MANAGE ISSUES WITH SUPPLIERS.
6. STAY UP-TO-DATE WITH SUPPLY CHAIN CHALLENGES.
7. Maintain accurate procurement records and reports for management review.
Requirements:
* PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN PROCUREMENT, PURCHASING, OR SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT.
* KNOWLEDGE OF PRODUCTS WITHIN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY.
* EXCELLENT ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS WITH ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
* ABILITY TO ANALYSE COSTS AND OPTIMISE PURCHASING STRATEGIES.
* Proficiency in procurement software or ERP systems (preferred).
