A leading MGA is looking for an experienced Personal Injury Claims Handler to join their Dublin-based team. Reporting to the Head of Claims, the role involves managing a portfolio of large loss personal injury claims from notification to settlement. Responsibilities include conducting investigations, liaising with claimants, solicitors, and other stakeholders, negotiating settlements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Accurate financial forecasting, reserve management, and regular file reviews will be essential to maintaining service quality and achieving key targets. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience handling large loss personal injury claims, with strong technical knowledge of liability claims, the Personal Injuries Assessment Board, and litigation processes. An APA qualification is required. Strong negotiation, decision-making, and organisational skills are key, along with the ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team environment. This role offers a salary of up to €70K, depending on experience, along with benefits including pension contributions, private healthcare, and an employee assistance programme.
