A new permanent position has just come available, for a Part Qualified Accountant provide some support to the Practice Manager on a permanent basis.
The company is an employer of choice based in Co. Meath with an impressive database of clients, they have been operating for over 30 years. The company offers a wide range of services including audit, non-audit, sole trader and industry sector clients. The company is in a good commuting distance for individuals living in Meath, North Dublin & Louth.
This role operates on a hybrid model with the option of working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home per week.

Role of this position
* Preparation of and review of annual financial statements
* Accounts preparation work to include balance sheet reconciliations
* Assist with the preparation of the management accounts
* Deliver of financial statements in line with agreed deadlines and ability to follow checklists, procedures and process requirements
* Assist with the preparation of year end audits
* Assist with year-end close out and year end journals
* Preparation of company and personal tax returns
* Completing statutory returns
* Liaising with clients
* Assisting manager on special client assignments
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CPA)
* Over 2 years’ experience in a general accounting practice with exposure to audit
* Strong financial acumen with the ability to perform a hands-on role
* Proficiency in Accounting packages – Sage Line 50 is an advantage
* You will hold a full clean driver’s license and transport as you will be expected to go on client visits occasionally
