Buyer Role
We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join our team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate quantities and material schedules for all projects.
* Sources and coordinates the supply of plant and materials required for all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Forecasting costs and estimates on a monthly basis along with regular cost reviews.
* Coordinating purchasing of supplies, materials, services, and equipment for all sites.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Experienced buyer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction or manufacturing industry.
* Focussed and diligent, high level of attention to detail.
* Persistent when dealing with suppliers whilst maintaining positive relationships.
Requirements:
* The ability to prioritise tasks and manage your time to meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication, relationship building, and negotiation skills.
* Excellent budget control and cost analysis skills.
