Your New Role As a Senior Civil Engineer (Drainage), you will be responsible for leading the delivery of civil engineering solutions across a broad range of development projects.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Designing drainage solutions Developing comprehensive planning reports Liaising with local authorities to ensure planning compliance Coordinating with various stakeholders including design team members, statutory bodies, contractors, and clients What You'll Need to Succeed To be successful in this role, you will need:
A minimum of 6 years of experience in leading civil engineering projects Demonstrated experience in designing drainage solutions, preferably in Ireland or the UK Proficiency in developing planning reports such as engineering services reports, flood risk assessments, and construction management plans Strong skills in liaising with local authorities and ensuring planning compliance Excellent IT skills and experience with drainage design packages (e.g., Windes, Infodrainage, Causeway Flow) Proficiency in Civil 3D, with additional experience in Revit or Navisworks being a plus In-depth knowledge of design codes and development plan requirements Solid technical and analytical skills with strong problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written A commitment to continuous professional development and learning A full driver's license and a valid work permit to work in Ireland are desirable What You'll Get in Return In return, you will have the opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company that values innovation and professional growth.
