As a Test Technician at our Dublin facility, you will:
* Set up and test systems and sub-assemblies against specifications.
* Perform inspections on sub-assemblies, modules, and systems using engineering drawings and specifications.
* Prepare samples and reagents for chemical testing.
* Determine causes of malfunction and non-conformance using theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
* Verify systems against branch orders to ensure accuracy.
* Assist Engineering in installing new test procedures, equipment, and products.
* Help design test fixtures, inspection/test procedures, and preliminary system test/inspection procedures.
* Maintain accurate Q.C. records.
* Oversee repair work and ensure compliance with Siemens specifications.
* Work with Q.C. procedures relating to material flow, handling, and acceptance/rejection procedures.
* Awareness of risks involved in handling hazardous materials and adherence to safety rules and procedures.
* Train new personnel or existing technicians on unfamiliar systems or modules.
You require:
* A third-level qualification in Engineering (Degree/Diploma/QQI Level 6 Certificate).
* 2 years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
* Excellent PC skills, including Word, Excel, Microsoft Windows, and SAP.
