Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a high quality bar experience.
This role is ideal for someone with excellent mixology skills, a deep knowledge of beverages, and a friendly, customer-focused attitude. Principle Responsibilities Welcome guests warmly, take beverage orders accurately, and provide professional recommendations based on customer preferences. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and responsible service guidelines. Engage with guests to create a friendly and inviting bar environment, ensuring customer satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a courteous and efficient manner, resolving issues promptly. Maintain a strong knowledge of the drinks menu, including cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits, to provide expert recommendations. Ensure the bar area is well-stocked, organized, and maintained to the highest standard before, during, and after shifts. Set up and close the bar efficiently, ensuring all equipment and stock are correctly stored and maintained. Monitor beverage inventory, report shortages, and assist in stock rotation to maintain freshness and minimize waste. Accurately process guest payments using the POS system and handle cash transactions responsibly. Comply with all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of glassware, ice, and garnishes. Follow food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP, to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination. Adhere to responsible alcohol service practices and ensure guests consume alcohol responsibly. Report any maintenance issues or potential hazards to management immediately. Work closely with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service. Support other team members by assisting with food service and clearing tables when necessary. Participate in regular staff training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and service skills. Contribute to a positive and energetic team atmosphere, fostering strong communication and cooperation. Required Experience & Skills Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar hospitality role. Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, spirits, and beer, including mixing techniques and presentation. Experience handling cash and operating a POS system. Understanding of food safety regulations and HACCP principles. A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to manage and implement positive changes to improve bar service.
