Retail Equipment Quality Assurance Manager
Summary
As a Retail Equipment Quality Assurance Manager, you will ensure all technical specifications of equipment across Clothing, Home, Foods and Hospitality are consistently delivered across all the supply base to the highest standard. You will drive consistent quality of manufacturing to signed off specifications through all the supply base across bulk production.
You will also ensure that all Clothing & Home and Foods & Hospitality equipment specifications consistently meet black seal standards including retail handling, health & safety, accessibility & Plan A requirements.

Your key accountabilities will include
* Monitor and review equipment production across multiple suppliers to ensure that all products meet the signed-off specifications and quality standards.
* Work closely with external suppliers and manufacturers to communicate product specifications and quality requirements. Act as the main point of contact for spec quality-related issues and provide ongoing support to resolve any challenges that arise during production.
* Develop and implement inspection processes to check equipment during production and prior to shipment. Conduct spot checks and quality audits to ensure adherence to specification standards.
* Maintain detailed records of equipment specifications, production schedules, and quality control inspections. Prepare regular reports for stakeholders, highlighting any quality issues, corrective actions, and progress toward meeting production goals.
* Identify, document, and resolve any non-conformance issues, ensuring that corrective actions are taken quickly. Collaborate with suppliers to address root causes and prevent future issues.
Your skills and experience will include
* Experience in quality assurance, supplier management, or manufacturing, ideally within the retail or product equipment sector.
* Strong understanding of production processes, equipment specifications, quality control standards, and weight testing.
* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies and issues in product specifications.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage supplier relationships and resolve issues.
* Good written and verbal communication skills to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
