Our client, one of Ireland's premier residential developers currently building a mix of high end and large-scale apartments, housing, hotels, industrial units and office developments throughout Ireland, have a unique opportunity for a high calibre Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial Department team based in Dublin.
Key responsibilities;
* Previous experience in similar sized projects to ensure appropriate experience to achieve project delivery in accordance with agreed company success criteria for the project.
* Strong commercial awareness to review and agreeing sub-contractor and material package budgets, and the setting of the overall development budgets and cashflows for agreement with the Commercial Director.
* Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying
* Experience in managing standard construction contract forms, including preparing sub-contracts and collateral warranties, conducting pre-ward meetings, and agreeing variations and final accounts.
* Supervising and managing the accurate and timely project delivery cost reporting to the Commercial Director in the form of Monthly Cost Reports and Projected Final Costs.
* Attending meetings with the design teams, sub-contractors, specialist sub-contractors and third-party stakeholders as required.
Tasks will be reviewed and allocated to reflect increasing levels of development, experience, and specific project requirements.
The candidate;
* 7+ yrs Post-Graduate experience.
* An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets to meet the project programme.
* Good IT skills with competency at Buildsoft, Cost-ex or equivalent, Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Experience processing interim payments for Sub-Contractors, Design Team and Third-Party Development Costs.
* A willingness to attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills as required by the company.
* Must have strong knowledge of building details and construction technology.
* To have strong analytical skills and ability to present findings and cost reports.
* To have good spoken and written communication skills.
* To be methodical, pay attention to detail and be accurate in reporting.
* Confident working with people at all levels and willing to work in a team in proactive manner as required.
* To be self-motivated with an ability to work on own initiative.
* To be able to co-ordinate more than one project at the same time as per future company requirements, reporting to the company CEO, CFO, Head of Development and Commercial Director.

Market Level Package for Snr QS:
* Base Salary: €90k to €100k per annum depending on experience (Annual review at Christmas)
* Annual Bonus (Christmas): Discretionary based on performance, 20% to 30% of Base Salary depending on experience (50% paid in year one at Christmas and 50% carried over to year two at Christmas, and so on)
* Pension: 5% Employers Contribution / 5% Employee Contribution (or more if employee wishes) (Pension is optional if employee doesn’t wish to avail of it)
