Job Description
* Collaborate with the Head of Buying and Head of Finance to build the financial budget and range plan for each season.
* Deliver a commercially viable and balanced product range at competitive prices, ensuring the appropriate quantity for customer and online sales, including exclusive online product ranges where applicable.
* Analyze all aspects of sales performance, both online and in-store, in conjunction with the sales team.
* Manage supplier relationships effectively, evaluating performance based on product quality, innovation, reliability, sustainability, and competitiveness.
* Review the existing supply base and coordinate new factories to ensure they meet quality and innovation standards, adding value to the current supply chain.
* Work with the Design Team and suppliers to translate beauty trends into commercial consumer products that align with brand attributes and aspirations.
* Collaborate with the Graphic Designer on all design briefs related to formulation, componentry, and packaging.
* Liaise with the Marketing Team to organize product samples and required information for campaigns and launches in a timely manner.
* Evaluate and benchmark competition to identify strengths, weaknesses, merchandising methods, and opportunities, developing action plans to maintain a competitive edge.
* Regularly monitor competitor pricing, product launches, and market movements.
* Partner with the Head of Buying to agree and present sales budgets, stock intake, and sales monitoring by customer and online, reviewing open-to-buy (OTB) budgets and forecasted performance to react appropriately.
* Implement and maintain quality standards by ensuring all packaging and formulas comply with relevant market regulations.
* Ensure adherence to all safety standards.
* Identify key beauty trends for press and media coverage, ensuring adequate quantities are available to support customer and online demand.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Buying, Design, Sales, Marketing, and Finance, to achieve shared objectives.
* Coach and develop team members through on-the-job training and mentoring.
