Role Title: Regulatory Reporting Accountant, Regulatory Reporting - CFO
Hybrid working will include a blend of onsite (Dublin) and remote working at AIB Finance. We are looking for talented, energetic, and motivated individuals to work as part of a team whose ambition is to become a world-class regulatory reporting function, exceptional at developing talent and turning information into insights.
The role offers the opportunity to broaden your experience while working in one of Ireland's leading finance services organisations. You may have regulatory reporting experience or be a qualified accountant with a minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience (PQE).
Key Responsibilities:
* Production of monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reports to customer and regulatory requirements and deadlines.
* Interpreting new and existing regulatory reporting requirements, applying them to regulatory reporting systems.
* Maintaining the highest standards of customer service, addressing both internal and external customer requirements to the highest standards within agreed timelines.
* Ensuring controls and reconciliations are within remit, minimising operational risk.
* Participating in projects and initiatives to optimise processes, delivering efficiencies.
* Analysing and exploiting the Enterprise Data Warehouse to achieve reporting efficiencies.
Requirements:
* A third-level degree, preferably in business/finance/accounting or a discipline evidencing solid numeracy.
* A professional qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CFA), ideally with 1-3 years' experience in a finance or finance reporting role.
* Regulatory reporting experience, such as COREP Own Funds and Leverage Ratio, Large Exposures, etc.
* Banking experience with an understanding of a bank's business model, products, and reporting suite.
* The ability to analyse and interpret data, assessing its value and presenting findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
* A results-driven individual with problem-solving skills, managing competing priorities, and delivering against tight deadlines.
* Strong core business skills, including stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and managing & developing others.
