The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental operations and business management, with proven experience in managing dental teams, handling administrative tasks, and driving the business forward. Responsibilities: Practice Operations Management Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth, efficient workflow across all areas of the practice. Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, infection control procedures (IPC), and compliance with health and safety regulations. Monitor patient appointment scheduling, clinical areas, and resource allocation for optimal practice efficiency Financial Management Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial health and profitability. Monitor expenses, manage billing, and oversee collections to maintain cash flow. Manage practice accounts, payroll, and liaise with accountants as necessary. Team Leadership & Development Supervise and support all practice staff, including dental nurses, administrative staff, and receptionists. Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews, providing coaching and feedback to support staff growth. Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members. Patient Relations & Experience Maintain high standards of patient service and satisfaction by managing complaints and feedback. Oversee front-desk operations, ensuring efficient scheduling, patient records, and communication. Implement initiatives to improve patient experience and build strong relationships with patients. Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure the practice complies with all regulatory and quality standards (e.g., CQC, HIPAA, GDPR). Manage clinical audits, IPC audits, and practice inspections. Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance purposes. Marketing & Business Development Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain patients. Identify business growth opportunities and implement initiatives to drive revenue. Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to optimize practice operations. Inventory & Resource Management Oversee stock control, ordering, and management of supplies to ensure availability without overstocking. Negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost-effective purchasing. Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in dental practice management or a similar role in the healthcare field. Knowledge: Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and clinical workflows.
