We are delighted to be partnering with our client who is a highly reputable fuel & renewable supply company in search of an experienced Marketing & Communications Manager.
Role: Marketing & Communications Manager
Location: Cork
Duration: FTC (Maternity Cover)
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Marketing and Communications Manager will be an integral member of the company's management team. They are responsible for the development and supervision of all marketing and communications strategies for the company.
This individual will oversee the development of goals, strategies, and implementation plans to execute comprehensive marketing campaigns. A key function will be to develop and execute marketing and communication strategies to support the business activities of one of the company's entities.
Responsibilities
1. Delivery of agreed 2023 marketing strategy and development of 2024 strategy
2. Collaborate with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, identify and solve problems
3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders and in particular customers
4. Develop, implement and analyse an integrated internal and external marketing strategy for the Business to increase brand awareness
5. Work with departmental colleagues to ensure the marketing strategy aligns with the business objectives and supports all business activities and departments.
6. Work with forecourt dealers to develop joint marketing and communication activities
7. Write reports and compile statistics on activity and related analytics for senior management
8. Drive a multi-channel marketing strategy, with a strong focus on digital and social media
9. Develop and execute marketing and communication plan within the budget
10. Deliver plans and projects in a timely fashion
11. Lead and develop on all digital marketing, creating relevant and engaging content in line with the marketing strategy and with the aim of raising the Business's profile online
12. Publish high quality content and advertising on social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn) on a regular basis and in line with guidelines within the marketing strategy, with the aim to build followers, enhance visibility, and drive engagement.
13. Develop and prepare content for websites, press releases and any other distribution channels.
14. Manage projects to ensure content is publication-ready and submitted on time.
15. Manage and oversee implementation of brand guidelines across all aspects of business
16. Ensure that all company sponsorships are activated in support of the relevant brands.
17. Manage company CSR activities.
18. Maintain and manage the company website, optimize web communication.
19. Work closely with the company's communication department to ensure alignment and coordination of communication and branding activities.
20. Maintain brand assets - in conjunction with design agency, maintain guidelines for use of business brands.
Requirements
1. Degree level qualification in a relevant field.
2. A minimum of 5 years' marketing experience and hands-on experience in online content management
3. Expertise across a wide range of marketing disciplines and media with strong evidence of impact and results
4. In-depth knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva. Familiarity with SEO, WordPress, MailChimp. Experience with Excel, Word, Mac & Windows OS. Experience with Photoshop
5. An excellent networker, communicator, and writer
6. Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with experience of delivering multi-faceted projects within tight timeframes.
7. Strong leadership skills, confident in creating and delivering strategies.
8. Ability to manage and work to budgets.
9. Understanding of GDPR requirements and processes
