Site Services Lead Engineer
Will support and report to the KF Senior Manager, direct maintenance resources and 3rd party contractors within the appointed area, to effectively maintain and resolve utilities plant and equipment and facilities issues.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Effective communication with site personnel with respect to the planning and implementation of maintenance activities.
2. Maintain and troubleshoot plant and equipment.
3. Review and implement PPM activities.
4. Liaise directly with the Process and Manufacturing Team Leaders to agree schedules and priority of works.
5. Shutdown planning.
6. Implementation of Lean techniques in the running/coordination of maintenance activities and/or projects.
7. Responsible for meeting predefined KPI targets with respect to maintenance downtime, maintenance performance, and overall equipment effectiveness.
8. Actively assist in the management and development of people in the maintenance team to achieve a high-performance output.
9. Defining and implementing skills matrix.
10. Ensure site documentation is accurate, timely, and relevant.
11. Provide a helpful and professional service at all times.
12. Contractor Management of 3rd party services and other providers.
13. Compliance – utility & life systems, 3rd party services, contractors, and providers.
14. SLA implementation with respective 3rd party services, contractors, and providers.
Qualifications:
1. Third Level qualifications and/or qualified trades certification.
2. Relative experience in a similar role.
3. The individual must possess the ability to work with minimal supervision.
4. Effective communication skills.
5. The successful candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, as well as having excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to achieve through people.
6. Ability to read, understand and decipher technical information in determining applicability to business processes.
7. Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal with a variety of internal/external contacts.
8. Demonstrated experience in a responsible maintenance/engineering role.
9. Strong maintenance management understanding, experience, and knowledge.
10. Sound and proven capability of maintenance strategies, practices, technologies, systems, and condition monitoring.
11. Communication and interpersonal skills.
12. Strong business knowledge and ability to interface with manufacturing organization.
13. Strong leadership skills.
14. Proven Management and Supervisory know-how.
15. Team leadership and development.
16. Ability to apply Engineering principles in practical application.
