We're currently recruiting a dedicated Finance Manager to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Compass Group Ireland on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
As Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the financial health of our operations across Compass Group Ireland. You will be responsible for ensuring financial controls are in place, providing accurate reporting and analysis, and partnering with operational teams to drive commercial performance.
You'll bring strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a collaborative approach to help us deliver excellent service and meet our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Raise journals for business areas, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
* Act as the central point of contact for operational teams, managing the Review & Approve process.
* Review working capital performance and recommend actions to improve results.
* Ensure billing processes are timely, accurate, and compliant, while driving continuous improvement.
* Support Profit Protection by encouraging self-audits and assisting in action plan development.
* Implement standardised monthly reporting across the business.
* Provide training to operational teams to enhance financial awareness and performance.
* Analyse monthly financial results and highlight key discussion points for the Contract Director.
* Monitor and manage contract costs, enforce purchasing compliance, and protect margins.
* Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, challenging performance and reporting key variances.
* Represent Finance at designated client meetings and build strong client relationships.
About You:
* Proven experience managing key stakeholders and building relationships across functions.
* Multi-site or contract-based finance experience is highly desirable.
* Strong commercial judgement and ability to influence decision-makers.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated leadership, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
* Strong analytical skills and confidence working with financial systems and reporting tools.
* Accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) essential.
