Job Title: Business Analyst – F&O
Contract: 12 months (high likelihood of extension) - €525/DAY
Purpose:
My client is embarking on an ambitious, multi-year IT transformation program and is seeking an experienced contract Business Analyst to support one or more key transformation initiatives.
Operating within PMO, the Business Analyst will collaborate with Commercial, Operations, HR, Group IT, PMO, and business change functions. This role involves leading the analysis phase of projects, capturing overall business requirements, working closely with technology teams and third-party vendors, and supporting the full project delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the analysis phase of projects, ensuring business requirements are well-documented and aligned with delivery frameworks.
* Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, ensuring stakeholder needs are captured, documented, and agreed upon.
* Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications, working closely with delivery teams to ensure alignment.
* Conduct complex process mapping of AS-IS and TO-BE workflows to support business and technical changes.
* Support business readiness, testing, support, and training activities throughout the project lifecycle.
* Provide estimations, status updates, and governance contributions as needed.
* Oversee data migration processes, including documentation, cleansing, testing, and loading into new systems.
Key Skills & Experience:
Essential:
* 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in large-scale transformation programs involving multiple interdependent applications.
* Proven experience implementing technology solutions in an FMCG environment.
* Experience working with ERP (F&O or equivalent), WMS, CRM, eCommerce, digital portals, mobile apps, and reporting tools.
* Strong understanding of Supply Chain operations, including Goods Inwards, Outwards, Manufacturing/Rework, Quality, and interactions with Commercial & Finance teams.
* Experience working with multiple third-party vendors and integration technologies.
* Ability to communicate complex topics to non-technical audiences.
* Comfortable in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
* Hands-on experience with Jira or Azure DevOps for managing Epics, Stories, and Features.
* Strong documentation skills, including process mapping, user requirements, functional specifications, and requirements traceability matrices.
* Experience collaborating with developers and third-party vendors on solution design.
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to engage with different business functions.
Desirable:
* Experience working in an ERP-centric (F&O or equivalent) environment with multiple third parties.
* Prior experience in a GxP-regulated environment.
* Strong data analysis skills, including data transformation, SQL querying, and database management.
* Relevant Business Analysis certifications.
