About Glenlo Abbey Hotel
The 5* Glenlo Abbey Hotel, Galway (part of the MHL Hotel Collection) is located on the bank of Lough Corrib on a 138-acre estate with the original 18th century manor house dating back to the 1740's. The Hotel comprises of 73 guest bedrooms, 11 Luxury Lodges, Corrib Room (catering for meetings, events, and weddings for up to 170 guests), River Restaurant, Palmers Bar and Kitchen, Oak Cellar Bistro, 2AA Rosette Pullman Restaurant (an original Dining Carriage from the Orient Express), Glo Spa & Wellness, 9 hole Championship Golf Course and a 21 bay driving range.

Responsibilities
* Greeting guests and completing procedures on check in & check out
* Processing payments and balancing financial records
* Handling guest enquiries & complaints in a professional manner
* Delivering excellent customer service to all guests at all times
* Answer any queries the guest may have on in house facilities and tourist information.
* Take responsibility for the security of the keys.
* Update all guest information in the computer and ensure all documentation is completed, managed and maintained accurately and efficiently.
* Liaise with colleagues, management and external stakeholders as required.
* Other related ad-hoc administrative tasks where necessary.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess
* Previous Hotel Reception experience along with a detailed working knowledge of a Hotel reservations system (e.g. Hotsoft) would be an advantage.
* Fluent English and strong Customer Service Skills.
* A willingness to progress their career with the MHL Hotel Collection.
