Job Overview
The company is currently looking to hire a Senior Technical Sales Manager who will manage and maintain the existing customer base and expand further with new clients and projects as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive and deliver sales plans in conjunction with the Sales Director to ensure sales targets are achieved.
* Interact with customers and manufacturers about product specifications.
* Sell the company's product range to existing and potential customers.
* Have a good understanding of CRM systems and their importance to the business.
* Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Forecast and engage with internal colleagues to ensure the availability of products.
* Expedite the resolution of customer issues, ensuring the best outcome for customers and the company.
* Maintain sales quotations, price files, and customer contacts as appropriate.
* Update the Sales Director on all projects regularly.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
* Relevant industry qualification or engineering degree would be an advantage.
* Self-motivated with strong negotiation, planning, and consultative sales skills.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
