This role will involve the use of machinery and equipment and will include physical exertion (manual handling etc.) on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:
Adhering to Company policies and procedures in relation to all aspects of Health and Safety. Adhering to clients site rules and regulations in general and particularly in relation to Health and Safety. Ability to mark and lay out Landscaping plans. Work to tight deadlines and maintain focused and composed to deal with clients and crews. Strong problem solving skills and flexibility in approach to work. Strong management skills to manage numerous employees. Excellent planning and time management skills in order to structure each day to work to your maximum ability.
Organisational skill are key to ensure you manage your crews and sites in coordination, guaranteeing all jobs are completed in a timely and efficient manner and to clients expectations.
Strong leadership skill to demonstrate the ways of working that is expected from crews. Ability to work on own initiative and create new and improved ways of working. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to build up strong relationships with existing clients and new potential customers. Ensure all work completed is to a high standard as expected by SAP Landscapes.

Duties Include:
Manage and Supervise a high volume of Landscapes and Maintenance sites. Plan daily / weekly works with Contracts Managers for all crews. Liaise with clients regarding Site Programmes and handover dates, and conduct site checks in advance of landscaping works. Compile site progress reports to enable applicants for works completed on site. Meet potential new clients for landscaping works. Ensure crews are carrying out works in accordance with the scope and schedules of works.
Visit sites to ensure crews are working to the best of their ability and provide guidance and advice in relation to work being carried out.
Undertake manual labour if required in order to support a crew / demonstrate how work should be done. Monitor individual performance, attendance and attitude. Escalate any individual issues to the Contracts Manager and the Human Resources Department. Seek advice and act in an ethical manner at all times.
Be the first point of contact for the crews should there be any issues or obstacles that may need to be overcome.
Resolve client and crew problems on a daily basis. Discuss workloads, and plan schedules alongside the Contracts Manager. Discuss any technical issues in relation to E-Forms. Discuss financial targets in relation to cost analysis. Work towards our target percentage and endeavour to exceed targets provided. Manage clients expectation and needs in relation to landscape and maintenance works. Be a point of contact for them to discuss any concerns or feedback they may have. Represent the company in a professional and proficient manner. Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Liaise with the Health and Safety Officer on an on-going basis to ensure that these regulations are met by all crews.
Report any incidents to the Health and Safety Department immediately. Investigate these accidents / incidents in conjunction with the Health and Safety Department.
Ensure any toolbox talks are carried out, crews are wearing the appropriate PPE and that crews have been trained on the appropriate machinery being used.
Attend monthly Health and Safety meetings and other ad hoc meetings as required. Liaise with the Human Resources Department in relation to conducting investigations for any Human Resources issues. Analyse timesheets to ensure hours calculated are correct before being approved by the Contracts Manager. Liaise with the payroll department in relation to any employee payroll issues. Assist employees in relation to any payroll administration, ie. Letters, forms etc. Liaise with the finance department in relation to cash collection and invoices. Fleet management - monitoring of maintenance of vehicles. Reports and investigate any vehicle issues. Meet with Forepersons on a weekly basis to discuss scheduled works and any current issues or requirements. Attend weekly and monthly meetings as and when required. Undertake the organisation and execution of landscape maintenance / aftercare contracts as per contract requirements. Meet clients and provide reports to clients as required.
