Reporting to the Mill Shift Supervisor, the Mill CCR Operator is responsible for monitoring, directing and assisting with all aspects of the Processing Plant in order to achieve operational targets relating to Production, Quality, Safety & Costs.Main Duties and Responsibilities: Comply with all initiatives and best practices relating to environment, health, safety and quality (EHSQ).Monitoring and controlling Mill OCS to achieve targets related to EHSQDirecting response to emergency incidents and liaising with the relevant authoritiesComplying with shift staffing levels and leave allocationLiasing with Mill Management, and other relevant Departments, to coordinate operations within the Mill area of responsibilityAssisting with the creatation, review and updating of SOPsAssisting in the training of shift operators as directedBe accountable for those aspects of the Concentrator Division as delegated by Mill Shift Supervisor under pertinent policies and procedures.Experience and Qualifications: 3 years experience in Tara Mines Mill Production department.Knowledge of all Mill unit processes and related SOPs is required.Knowledge of Mill emergency and safety SOPs is requiredPractical experience in the use of Mill operational control system (ABB).Skills and Capabilities: Organisational skills Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to create and maintain an inclusive culture Good communication skills with strong verbal, written and computer skills Effective team player along with the ability to work under one’s own initiative.
