Full job description The role of the Quality Controller is to work closely with the Quality Control Team in maintaining Quality Control / HACCP procedures on a daily basis.
The role will involve testing and examining all produce to ensure the highest standard of quality is achieved for all customers.
Key Duties & responsibilities Carrying outqualityinspections onproduce atintake,andthroughout production andfinished product stage.
Completion of daily record keeping E.g.
intake and dispatch checks etc.Sending Quality reports to Customers, reviewing rawmaterialqualityonacontinuous basis andcommunicating anyqualityissues to production departments.
Ensuring HACCPprinciplesarecontinuouslymetforproductsafetyandprocesscontrol.
Ensuring BRCrequirements aremaintained assetdownintherelevant standardandensuring traceability is maintained for all lines.
Assistincarrying outinternal auditsonaroutinebasis/ ensuring thatthefactory iscompliant withall health & safety/ quality regulations.
Qualifications/ experience DegreeinFoodScienceorsimilarisdesired butnotessential.
Minimumof2-3years'experienceinMeatindustrymandatory.
BRC/IFSFoodSafety Certification,HACCP, BordBia,FoodService andRetailerCodes ofPractices and food manufacturing is essential.
