Lilly is currently constructing a Next Generation Biotech Drug Substance Manufacturing Facility in Limerick, Ireland. This facility will be Lilly’s most technically advanced manufacturing site and will include next-generation manufacturing technologies and advanced data collection and analysis platforms that will deliver improvements in safety and quality, and increased productivity and process performance.
Main Purpose and Objectives of Position:
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be a part of the Human Resources team for the startup of a greenfield manufacturing site.
The role will require good general knowledge across the HR function including Talent Acquisition, Staffing, Performance Management, Employee Relations, People Management basics, Compensation basics, etc.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
HRBP role will play a key part in the Limerick HR team, in this role you need to:
1. Be effective at building a network within the business, collaborating at all levels, at times in an informal manner, to drive initiatives/decisions/change while setting up the HR structure for the new site.
2. Support Talent Acquisition for the site including University outreach & engagement.
3. Act as first point of contact for managers & employees and provide guidance, solutions and support on all HR processes, programmes, policies and initiatives whilst ensuring compliance with Irish Employment Legislation.
4. Manage employee relations issues and provide guidance on conflict resolution to both managers and employees and lead efforts to promote a positive work environment.
5. Maintain Limerick HR policies/processes while ensuring compliance with current legislation.
6. Provide HR Metrics / analytics that support the business setup and the long-term success of the site.
7. Maintain high standards of compliance in all areas of the HR life cycle.
8. Support Limerick HR induction program.
9. During the setup phase you will also support generalist activities within the HR function.
10. Be flexible to assist HR team as required with Ad hoc projects/duties as required.

Additionally:
16. Demonstrated ability to develop HR policies and to manage change.
17. Demonstrated previous oversight of recruitment activities and metrics.
18. Demonstrate knowledge of Irish employment law and practices applicable to all aspects of employment.
19. Proven experience of dealing with and resolution of employee relation issues.
20. Good documentation practices – flow-charts, process flows, training job aids.
21. Experienced user of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint) required.
22. Experience in a HRM system e.g. Workday will be an advantage.
Qualifications
23. 5+ years relevant experience in a manufacturing HR environment.
24. Hons degree qualified ideally in a relevant HR related discipline.
25. Thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
26. Excellent knowledge in Irish employment legislation.
27. Knowledge of the local Limerick labour environment will be an advantage.
