The successful candidate will work as part of this team, bringing some of Virgin Media Television’s flagship programming to air. They must possess a high degree of technical proficiency in camera and lighting operation and have an unrelenting attention to detail and qualitySpecific Duties & Tasks:To perform duties in the operation of studio cameras, lighting consoles, vision monitoring, together with a requirement to operate all integrated ancillaries.To operate studio cameras to a high standard with particular reference to technical quality requirementsTo have an in-depth knowledge of studio lighting principlesOperation of camera exposure, luminousity and colour balance controls and maintain overall picture qualityTo work effectively and collaboratively within a fully multi-disciplined Studio Operations teamPay particular attention to health and safety measures when installing and running cables to equipment on the studio floorProvide assistance and input to the Studio Director, Floor Managers, Producers and the wider team when requiredThe above list is not exhaustive.
