Senior Procurement Manager (Aircraft Materials and Parts)
About This Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Procurement Manager to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for managing aircraft materials and parts, coordinating procurement for multiple projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage purchasing, repair, and sales orders for aircraft materials and parts
* Process and transmit orders to suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality control
* Oversee inventory management across warehouse locations, optimizing stock levels and minimizing waste
* Sources parts for technical projects, utilizing expertise in airworthiness requirements and vendor relationships
* Negotiate with vendors on price, lead time, and terms, securing the best value for our business
* Handle customs and shipping management, ensuring compliance with regulations and expedited clearance processes
* Ensure all certification paperwork is up-to-date and compliant with FAA/EASA standards
* Manage Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) purchases for new aircraft deliveries, collaborating with project stakeholders
* Generate reports on equipment purchase and sale activity, providing insights for business decision-making
* Assist in setting up GTAs with vendors, streamlining procurement processes and reducing administrative burdens
Requirements:
* Proven experience in procurement or materials management for new aircraft programs
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with an aircraft lessor, airline, or maintenance repair organization (MRO)
* Strong understanding of tags and certification for aircraft parts, as well as FAA/EASA airworthiness requirements
