Content Specialist - American Market (Remote)
We are looking for Content Specialists to highlight the finest content and discussions on a text-based social media platform, particularly focusing on trending topics sourced through algorithms.. The ideal candidate will have excellent editorial judgment, a strong command of social media, and a deep understanding of trending news and topics, as well as how they inform social conversations.
Job Responsibilities:
· Review a range of content and topics, including news and entertainment from a diverse set of users, publishers, broadcasters, public figures, creators and influencers.
· Identify and contextualize cultural trends and current affairs across a broad spectrum of themes.
· Apply review guidelines to content at scale, maintaining commitment to accuracy and consistency.
· Use editorial skills to identify edge cases or guidelines questions, escalating open questions or potential misalignments.
· Learn and use internal editorial tools and communications systems.
· Oversee selection decisions and respond to questions regarding guidelines or edge cases.
· Collaborate with our internal teams to improve user experience.
Requirements:
· Proven experience in social media, editorial, content creation, journalism or digital media.
· Deep knowledge of the social media landscape, user generated content and text-focused conversation platforms.
· Experience with social discovery and/or social listening tools.
· Skills in editorial strategy and understanding of what makes digital content engaging and relevant.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong orthography and grammar skills.
· Foreign language skills are a plus.
· Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Offer Details
· €29, per year as base salary
· For the Evening shift; 25% salary uplift for the late hours from 10pm to 2am (in total, up to €33, per year)

Contract: Permanent full-time
Working hours: Candidates are choosing between the Day shift (9am - 5:30pm), Afternoon shift (3pm - 11pm), or the Evening shift (6pm - 2am). There are no rotations between shifts. The ideal candidate will be able to work an atypical schedule as required, including Saturday and Sundays, and will demonstrate a commitment to accuracy and consistency in their work.

*Work from home after the initial 2-month training period
Candidates must be eligible to work full-time in Ireland (EU passport / Stamp 4 / Stamp 1G for a minimum of 12 months or renewable).
