Position Overview
The International Divisional finance team is currently recruiting for a Business Controller role. This position supports Divisional management in the overall execution and co-ordination of the Division's financial deliverables.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Preparing, co-ordinating and delivering all reporting requirements, including monthly and quarterly deliverables, annual budgets and strategic plans
* Co-ordinating the monthly trading results meetings and related deliverables
* Engaging with stakeholders across various business-related topics and projects, leveraging business intelligence tools to provide analysis and insights
* Understanding key issues facing the business and providing clear analysis to support decision making
* Reviewing and analysing financial performance, liaising directly with Divisional teams and the wider Group Finance team
* Providing other ad hoc information/analysis as requested by senior and executive management
Key Characteristics
You should be/have:
* A highly collaborative mindset with ability to build high trust relationships
* Excellent relationship management skills, including building and maintaining good working relationships
* A customer-focused approach (internal)
* A self-starter with ability to plan and organize own work efficiently
Experience / Education
You are/have:
* A professional accountancy qualification with at least +3 years' post-qualification experience
* A 3rd level degree or equivalent course qualification an advantage
* Advanced knowledge of reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
* Excellent communication and collaborative skills
* Demonstrated ability to analyse and validate financial and performance data
* Proven ability to manage workflows with multiple stakeholders effectively
