*Role Overview:*
As a Warehouse & Coldstore Operations Manager, you'll report directly to the General Manager, overseeing daily operations. Your responsibilities include team motivation, task delegation, and maintaining high standards to meet customer expectations in a fast-paced environment.
*Key Duties:*
- Lead and motivate the warehouse team.
- Conduct performance reviews, manage attendance, and address disciplinary issues.
- Maintain a positive work environment and ensure shift targets are met.
- Delegate tasks effectively and resolve issues promptly.
- Assume full responsibility for day-to-day warehouse operations.
- Manage labor proactively to meet customer needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Monitor performance linked to KPIs to optimize efficiencies.
- Oversee inventory, orders, and stock management processes.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Manage site facilities and coordinate repairs.
- Ensure employee training in safe work practices.
- Ensure health and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
*Requirements:*
- Previous experience in food or temperature-controlled warehouses.
- Minimum 3 years' experience managing a team of over 10 employees.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems.
- Track record of achieving targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong delegation and motivation skills.
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility with working hours.
- Knowledge of health and safety and BRC requirements.
