Job Title: Site Manager & Site Engineer and Project Manager
Your new role will be with a very successful main building contractor that has an excellent track record of delivering large scale projects across Ireland. This client is now seeking to recruit a team member for a large construction project in Limerick which will take up to two years to complete.
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring that all works are carried out to a high standard, on time, and within budget. This includes coordinating subcontractors, controlling the programme, preparing look-ahead programmes, and chairing site meetings. You will also be responsible for communicating with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. Your role will involve managing site set-up planning and security, logistics, deliveries, and traffic management, as well as working alongside the Project Manager to adhere to the construction programme.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years' experience in site management, preferably in the healthcare, commercial, industrial, residential, or large fit-out sectors. They should be fully computer-literate and have proven experience in preparation of progress reports. A strong understanding of current Health and Safety Construction regulations is essential.
