This leading Dublin four star property is currently recruiting a Corporate Sales Manager to focus on developing their corporate business at all levels – local, national and international. This would suit an experienced sales manager with deep knowledge of the Dublin corporate market.
Key responsibilities:
* Develop and identify new business across all hotel services within the local corporate community.
* Monitor competitive set and any new corporate businesses coming in to the area, ensuring continual growth of market share.
* Complete annual RPFs and negotiate rates with existing and new accounts to secure business.
* Track all leads lost and turned down for potential business.
* Maintain awareness of market developments.
* Contribute to discussions on annual budget and sales plan and activities.
* Monthly sales reporting including tracking of key accounts to monitor production and take any necessary action.
* Regular sales activities including weekly sales calls, corporate entertainment, fam trips, industry events and sales trips.
The ideal candidate:
* Minimum of three years’ experience as Proactive Sales Manager/Corporate Sales Manager within a quality hotel property.
* Excellent knowledge of the Dublin/national/global corporate markets.
* Proven track record of successfully achieving/exceeding all sales targets.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
* Skilled negotiator with strong influencing skills.
* Excellent IT skills across all sales-related platforms.
* Attention to detail with clear and accurate reporting ability.
