Accounts Assistant
Our client is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This role reports directly to the Accounts Supervisor and will involve working onsite with the finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monthly bank reconciliations of clients' accounts and accurate posting to the finance system of related transactions.
* Supplier reconciliations, including central billing accounts.
* Cash handling duties, as required, including bank lodgment reconciliations.
* Assistance with the Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger on an ad-hoc basis.
* Deal with finance queries and complete ad hoc finance projects, including system reviews and process improvements.
Requirements:
* A business or finance graduate, accounting technician, or a part-qualified accountant with 2-3 years experience in a similar finance role.
* Proficiency with MS Excel and accounting software.
* A willingness to learn and gain experience working in a busy finance department.
* Excellent communicator skills and good problem-solving and analytical skills.
* The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
Desirable Skill:
Experience with Payroll is an advantage.
