Logistics and Quality Manager
CREGG is currently recruiting for a Logistics & Quality Manager to join our client team.
This role involves managing logistics operations, maintaining quality standards, and overseeing procurement activities.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods, compliance with regulatory standards, and the achievement of operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
* Logistics Management: Plan and oversee logistics, warehouse operations, transportation, and customer services.
* Optimise and coordinate the entire order cycle.
* Supervise warehouse teams, ensuring adherence to cost, productivity, and timelines targets.
* Maintain and analyse performance metrics, addressing issues to improve efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO standards.
Quality Management:
* Develop and implement robust quality control processes and procedures.
* Monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards through audits and inspections.
* Train staff on quality control practices and address quality-related issues.
* Maintain detailed quality reports and relevant documentation.
Purchasing Management:
* Develop procurement strategies and manage supplier relationships.
* Monitor supplier performance and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
* Forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and process purchase orders accurately.
* Analyse market trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
* A degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience in logistics and quality management, preferably in a similar industry.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and proficiency in logistics software and tools.
* In-depth understanding of logistics processes, quality control standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Good knowledge of MS Office.
* Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
