Your key responsibilities
1. Research and resolution of technical accounting and/or hot topic issues;
2. Work with client financial reporting teams to help deliver financial information and to improve reporting processes;
3. Lead transaction teams and leverage internal network to bring the best of EY to our clients
4. Assist in providing technical support to ad-hoc accounting and regulatory queries from clients and internal staff in other service lines and across the globe;
5. Support the planning, execution and delivery of engagements including financial transformations;
6. Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress;
7. Use technology and innovation to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery; and
8. Build strong internal relationships within Assurance and across other service lines.
To qualify for the role you must have
9. An undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting and/or other appropriate academic major;
10. ACA or ACCA certification is desired but not a pre-requisite;
11. A minimum of 6 years of aviation finance industry experience or relevant aviation finance advisory experience
12. Strong interest in and passion for the aviation finance industry
13. Excellent project management skills with experience in aviation finance industry advantageous;
14. Excel Macro Programming experience desirable but not a prerequisite;
15. Advanced written and verbal communication skills;
16. A dedication to teamwork and leadership; and
17. Integrity within a professional environment.
