Job Description:
Our client based in Wesport is seeking a Project Engineer to lead their projects.
The Project Engineer will ensure that projects meet their agreed goals/targets on time and with quality results.
Responsibilities:
* Safely coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams for the delivery of processing equipment to the site based on planned timelines and scope.
* Select vendors and complete vendor evaluation matrices.
* Write user requirement specifications, risk assessments, and technical documents.
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
* Lead project team participation in factory acceptance testing programs.
* Coordinate equipment installation and services hook-up.
* Deliver process improvement and cost reduction projects.
* Meetings and reporting.
Requirements:
* Third-level qualification in an engineering or equivalent discipline/experience.
* Min. 2-5 years experience in Biologics, Pharmaceuticals, or Medical device industry.
* Proven record in project management.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills required to operate in a multi-function project team set up.
