Legal Business Services Executive
The Legal Services Executive position participates fully in team planning, services event coordination and delivery for the Organisation's strategic objectives.
Main Duties & Key Responsibilities
* Business supports & development: Assist in implementing the Organisation's 5-year strategy, manage the Services Excellence Standard business support initiative, act as Secretary to the services excellence committee, and establish an expert panel of legal professionals.
* Investigate grant supports available, develop guidance, and review and evaluate business supports and services offered by the Organisation.
* Create a suite of supports for SMEs throughout their lifecycle, including Start-Up Toolkit, Retirement and Succession Planning supports, locum register, information technology development tools, compliance and regulatory matters checklists, and complaint resolution tools.
* Develop an online business network and collaborate with external bodies and professional bodies to build networks.
Information and Guidance
* Create relevant practice support content for the Organisation's e-Newsletters, website, and other publications under the Engagement and Communications strategy.
* Manage and regularly update content on the support sections on the organisation's website.
* Respond to small business-related queries received through the shared mailbox in a timely manner.
Engagement & collaboration
* Create opportunities and initiatives that promote the value of small businesses, attend regional cluster events, represent and support services team brand, and engage in general Organisation activity.
Reporting
* Produce high-quality reports and communication materials relating to the area of small business supports.
* Liaise with other Departments and Committees internally to progress initiatives.
Knowledge & Skills
* At least five years of professional experience in a legal environment.
* Proven record of developing and project-managing professional services, good understanding of how small enterprises are effectively managed and developed, experience in creating content, excellent writing ability, and attention to detail.
* Creative, innovative, and initiative-taking approach to working in a dynamic team, effective communication and organisational ability, well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills, ability to influence stakeholders, project management knowledge an advantage, adaptable approach to work, and ability to work well as part of a collaborative team.
