Social network you want to login/join with:The RoleReporting to the Managing Director and the Head of Cork Operations, the Head of Filtration Operations (F2.0) is fully responsible for leading operations activities within one of the site's key manufacturing areas, including Warehouse. This role is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team responsible for developing and implementing the overall strategic direction for Cork Operations.The Head of Filtration Operations is accountable for on-time delivery of quality products to our customers in a cost-efficient and safe way through the development and execution of operating plans within our Cork manufacturing plant across multiple areas and teams, including high-volume process lines and production. The successful manager will lead the Filtration Operations in the delivery of our high-quality products to our customers around the globe.Working in close partnership with the Managing Director, the Head of Cork Operations, and site leadership, the F2.0 Operations Manager will work to ensure process rigor and a continuous improvement mindset within their areas of responsibility.Key Responsibilities include:Serve as the production owner and interface for business units. Accountable for the formulation and implementation of effective BU production plans and strategies, based on BU and customer needs and production engineering capacity.Ensure the proper coordination of people and equipment to best meet BU business goals and priorities, approving master schedules and production plans, developing the business case for capital expenditure.Lead continuous improvement and process excellence initiatives to deliver on the business needs and increase customer satisfaction, including a Servant Leadership mindset using the Cork Leader Leader Model.Lead teams in the practice of daily management to track and ensure the achievement of Operations goals in the areas of Safety, Quality, Cost & Cash, People, and Projects.Ensure that long-range planning of production schedules is established through the IBM process, assure department commitment to achieve the plan, and coordinate production activities to ensure proper execution of the plan.Develop budgetary requirements, evaluate reports of budget variance, and submit to the Director of Manufacturing Operations reports reflecting operating conditions.Responsible for the selection, training, counseling, and evaluation of direct reports and, through them, other employees within the department.Ensure that company policies are implemented and the development of appropriate local policies governing personnel and production activities.Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable Environmental, Health and Safety legislation & adherence to procedures for the area of responsibility.Evaluate employee performance with MyImpact in mind, providing day-to-day coaching, guidance, and recognition while also documenting performance including conducting annual performance appraisals.Who you are:Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Science, Engineering, or related/equivalent field.Master’s degree in the mentioned fields would be an advantage.Extensive experience within Operations / Plant Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or relevant strategic function. Track record in progressive leadership roles leading multifunctional teams, developing teams, and succession planning.Demonstrated change management; ability to define, establish, and complete a strategic and cultural vision by inspiring change across multifunctional teams and the broader organization.Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.Strong communication and leadership skills and experience in diverse cultural backgrounds.
