Position Overview:
Our Client is seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join their dental practice. The ideal candidate will be a registered dentist in Ireland with a passion for providing high-quality dental care. You will work within a supportive and professional team to deliver comprehensive care to patients, ensuring they have the best possible dental experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide a full range of general dental services, including but not limited to, routine check-ups, restorative treatments, preventive care, and extractions.
* Diagnose and treat dental conditions, diseases, and injuries.
* Perform oral health assessments and treatment planning.
* Administer local anaesthesia and other pain control measures as necessary.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options.
* Maintain accurate patient records in line with practice policies and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with dental hygienists, nurses, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
* Stay updated with the latest dental techniques, technologies, and industry best practices.
* Ensure all treatments and procedures comply with relevant health and safety regulations and professional guidelines.
* Build rapport with patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout their care.
* Handle patient complaints and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Must be a registered dentist with the Dental Council of Ireland.
* Hold a degree in Dentistry (Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent).
* Proven experience as a General Dentist with strong clinical skills.
* Knowledge of dental procedures, oral health care practices, and relevant medical conditions.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures and treatments to patients.
* Ability to work well in a team and independently, depending on the situation.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development and keeping up-to-date with current dental practices.
