Location: Central Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18
The Role: Technical Leadership for Credit Microservice Domain
Key Accountabilities:
* Work closely with teams within the Credit domain to design and deliver the strategic Credit Change agenda.
* Take responsibility for technical design and implementation for the Micro-service Credit domain within Credit engineering.
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the Microservice and java credit engineering team.
* Collaborate with product owners and solution architects to understand requirements and deliver high quality solutions.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in Java development with a strong focus on microservices architecture.
* Expertise in Spring Boot framework for building microservices-based applications.
* Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and maintainable microservices.
* Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
* Hands-on experience with Kafka for messaging and event-driven systems.
* Strong knowledge of Oracle and DB2 databases, including designing schemas, writing optimized SQL queries, and database performance tuning.
* Strong understanding of software development best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and agile methodologies.
