The role of the Enhanced Care CNM is to establish, manage and implement the development of the Enhanced Care programme across CHI.
The Enhanced Care CNM3 will also assist with the end-to-end process of all recruitment and interviews of all HCAs coming into CHI.
They will liaise closely with ward managers and HCAs in this respect.
The successful candidate will be required to lead the enhanced care programme across CHI.
The post holder will develop, plan and co-ordinate in collaboration with the responsible clinical teams in conjunction with the CCNE a training and development programme for enhanced carers and staff across CHI.
Minimum RequirementsStatutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc: (a) Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition:
Are registered in the relevant division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI].Have at least 5 years post registration fulltime experience, with 2 years in the specialty or related area.Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.Demonstrate evidence of Continuing Professional Development.(b) Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability including a high standard of suitability and clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
Health and Character RequirementsCandidates must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.
Candidates must also be of good character.
