Motor Distributors Limited, the exclusive importer and distributor of smart in Ireland and wishes to recruit a National Sales Manager,based at our Headquarters in Dublin 12.
We are looking for an experienced, motivated, proactive professional who will be responsible for the development of our Sales Strategy.
This is a new position, created to increase our sales and market share across all sales channels.
The successful candidate will form an important part of our new team as we reintroduce the smart brand to the Irish market.
The smart brand has an incredible story to tell, it is one of the most exciting brands to arrive in Ireland.
Key duties & Responsibilities.
Create the environment to realise the full potential for smart PC sales in our market.
Operational and strategic management of smart Ireland's growth strategy across all sales channels.
Agree progressive annual sales targets with management and with the dealer network.
Manage harmonious relationships with smart, agree a two-year rolling business plan/targets.
Travel to manufacturer events and motors shows as required.
Stock management of new vehicles, ensuring the optimum stock levels align with industry seasonality.
Nurturing a Customer first culture, exceeding expectations at every touchpoint of the customer journey.
Implementing our smart brand sales strategies, policies and procedures.
Develop a high performance, collaborative culture, delivering excellent operational performance.
Work with our marketing team to develop brand, product and smart leading technology awareness.
Proficient in new vehicle order management system, product knowledge, model mix and specification.
Monitor department performance against internal and Manufacturer KPIs, targets and budgets.
Introduce a high performing corporate sales culture in line with our ambitious growth plans.
Ensure all local market objectives / KPIs are owned and delivered by the sales team.
Develop the dealer network, organise national dealer meetings and business events.
Manage the interface with the public, the dealer network, the factory, and the management teams.
Represent and champion the smart brand in our market, attend industry functions.
The successful candidate will ideally.
Have strong financial and commercial acumen.
Proven experience within the motor industry is essential.
The ability to deliver results and have a genuine passion for the automotive industry.
Be highly motivated and self-driven individual who will lead by example.
