What you'll do:
As the Account Executive (AE), you are a highly motivated self-starter responsible for developing and closing new business and growing our footprint with current customers. You will help to grow Docusign by finding leads, closing sales, formulating sales strategies, and communicating product value to prospects while being proactive and consistently multi-threading into existing customers to sell additional use cases and products. You are accountable for exceeding monthly and quarterly quotas, proactive deal management, and forecast accuracy. Collaboration is a key priority as you will work alongside internal teams and the broader Docusign partner ecosystem. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
1. Drive success of the company’s goals and objectives through achieving individual sales quotas.
2. Build and manage a sales pipeline through prospecting efforts into a geographic territory or within core verticals.
3. Develop and deliver customized sales presentations and product demonstrations, by phone and via online demo.
4. Develop and discuss enterprise-level proposals and contracts.
5. Forecast sales activity and revenue achievements accurately through proper use of sales tools.
6. Collaborate effectively and engage various pre/post sales resources including Sales Development Representatives, Market Development Representatives, Solutions Engineers, Account Managers, Partner Account Managers, as well as Legal, Security, Professional Services, and Customer Support.
Job Designation:
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation).
What you bring:
1. Basic experience in consultative sales, preferably within a SaaS model.
2. Proficient computer application skills, including Salesforce.com.
3. Familiar with Google suite.
4. Preferred experience selling web-based products and/or services.
5. Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles.
6. Demonstrated ability to over-achieve quotas (top 10-20% of company) in past positions.
