Job Description: Our client, a well-established company in the transport sector, is seeking a Temporary Accountant for an initial 3-month contract.
This hybrid role is based in South Dublin with on-site parking and offers the opportunity to contribute to the finance teams operations.
Job Responsibilities: Support the preparation of management accounts.
Handle monthly accounting tasks, including reconciliations and reporting.
Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy.
Post journals and manage accruals and prepayments.
Oversee accounts payable processes and ensure timely payments.
Experience Required: A minimum of 3 years experience in an accounting or finance role.
Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
Previous experience working with Oracle is essential.
Proficiency in accruals, prepayments, and general ledger reconciliations.
Desirable Skills: Experience in a fast-paced finance environment.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Educational Requirements: A third-level qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Part-qualified or fully qualified in ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or similar is beneficial.
