A leading financial institution with a global reach is hiring for their Charlotte, NC office. They are seeking a Principal ServiceNow Engineer to drive the digital transformation initiatives within ServiceNow.
Schedule:
This role offers a hybrid schedule, requiring in-office work 3+ days a week.
Role Overview:
As a key member of the team, you will analyze, design, test, and develop high-quality software solutions. This position requires a self-motivated individual capable of collaborating effectively across teams. You will ensure adherence to standards, minimizing customer impact while following agile and DevOps principles.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and maintain a ServiceNow IRM instance
2. Establish and enforce governance and best practices for platform management
3. Ensure compliance with policies and standards
4. Participate in technical design discussions and evaluate new capabilities
5. Represent the IRM instance in discussions with other ServiceNow teams
Basic Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
2. 5-6 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
1. ServiceNow Administration (CSA) Fundamentals Certification
2. Experience across related ServiceNow Products ITAM (CMDB, APM, SAM, HAM), SecOps, & Vulnerability Management
3. Knowledge of Knowledge Bases and service portals
4. Familiarity with Proof of Concepts and blueprints
5. Experience with Agile methodologies and ServiceNow Connect (Kafka)
6. Strong analytical and communication skills
