About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Global Operations Analytics Team as part of the Global Operations Centre of Excellence. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence, with a focus on supply chain optimization. You will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, building predictive models, and providing actionable insights to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance operational performance. This role will require expertise in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python or R, and strong data storytelling skills to communicate insights to senior stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
2. Build and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI and Tableau to track key supply chain metrics (, inventory levels, lead times, shipping performance).
3. Develop and deploy statistical models and predictive analytics to optimize supply chain operations.
4. Use SQL to extract, clean, and manipulate large datasets from Snowflake data repository.
5. Apply Python or R for advanced data analysis, statistical modeling, and automation of routine tasks.
6. Partner with cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, and operations to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
7. Present complex data findings to senior leadership in a clear and compelling manner, using data storytelling techniques.
8. Lead data-driven projects from inception through to delivery, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
9. Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular quality checks and maintaining best practices in data management.
10. Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to enhance data infrastructure and reporting capabilities.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
11. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s or preferred).
12. 5+ years of experience in data analysis or a similar role, ideally with a focus on supply chain.
13. Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets.
14. Expertise in Power BI and Tableau for dashboard creation and data visualization.
15. Advanced knowledge of Python or R for statistical analysis and modeling.
16. Understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, procurement, and inventory management, etc.
17. Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to convey insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
18. Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
19. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, challenge where required, and work independently to drive business outcomes.
20. Analytical and enthusiastic mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Bonus Qualifications:
21. Experience with machine learning techniques, especially any applied to supply chain problems.
22. Familiarity with ERP, MRP, or WMS systems.
23. Experience with automation technologies
