My Client, a leading Irish FMCG Organisation based in Munster, is now looking for an ambitious Buyer/National Account Manager to join the Business. My Client operates within a specific category and is the Number 1 in its category - and by a long way too! With 90-100 people in Head Office, they have experienced strong growth, but as importantly, their strategy is to double in size in the next 5 years as they move into a new category. Trust me, it will be an exciting time to join the Business!
Through my network, I know they are a good company to work for - they have a genuine and collaborative culture - and it’s essential that everyone rows in together. Martin, the Commercial Director, leads by example and he said “Denis, I am looking for someone who has the experience of working with the leading Retailers (Dunnes, Tesco, Musgraves) and be my go-to person for all the Retailers. Trust is really important to me and integrity is a key trait within the business. As we are a PL-led company, there is no focus on category or trade marketing, but in this role, the focus will be working on forecasting, liaising with NPD, supply chain, and being responsible for a high turnover category - so every cent counts! Where we can cut down on costs with packaging, for example - this person must be extremely comfortable with numbers, have a collaborative approach, and be prepared to see the ‘whole picture’ so if he/she makes a decision, what are the ramifications and ripple effect.”
I cannot speak highly enough of the team - there is a family-led ethos where everyone genuinely listens to each other, and Martin and Senior Management are approachable.
