As a Site Engineer, you will play a vital role in managing on-site operations for residential construction projects. Your focus will be on setting out activities, ensuring the accurate positioning of structural components and monitoring the quality of works.
You will be responsible for interpreting architectural and engineering plans, translating these into precise on-site measurements and working closely with other construction professionals to deliver projects on time and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform accurate setting out and leveling of works on-site using survey equipment such as GPS, Total Station, and laser levels.
2. Oversight of daily construction activities, ensuring work is carried out according to project schedule, design drawings, and safety regulations.
3. Management and coordination of subcontractors on-site, ensuring compliance with quality standards and addressing technical issues.
4. Regular site inspections to ensure all work meets required standards of accuracy and quality.
5. Conducting construction activities in line with Health & Safety policies.
6. Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date site records, including daily reports on work completed, material usage, and issues encountered.
7. Preparation of as-built drawings and technical documentation as required by the project management team.
8. Collaboration with project managers, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
9. Identification, assessment, and resolution of technical and construction issues to minimize project delays.
Key Requirements:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
2. Minimum 2-5 years' experience in a Site Engineer role, with significant experience in setting out and using surveying equipment such as Total Stations, GPS, and laser levels.
3. Familiarity with CAD software and construction project management tools an advantage.
4. Strong understanding of residential construction processes, local building regulations, and Health & Safety requirements.
5. Full clean driving license required.
