Overview:
Subject to the direction and supervision of the Head of Pharmacy Services, the Chief II Pharmacist in charge of clinical services is responsible for managing clinical pharmacy services within the hospital.
Primary Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate clinical pharmacy services to wards / departments, managing provision in accordance with clinical priorities and staff availability.
Ensure a focus on patient safety in all aspects of the pharmacy service Lead on planning, quality assurance, staff management, and training in relation to clinical services with a strategic focus on service development.
